KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): Serba Dinamik Holdings, an international energy services group providing engineering solutions to the oil and gas and power generation industries, is a new entrant to the 2018 Forbes Asia’s Best 200 Under A Billion list.
The Best Under A Billion list honours 200 leading public companies in the Asia Pacific region with an annual revenue between US$5 million (RM20.96 million) and US$1 billion, with a positive net income and publicly traded for at least a year.
From a universe of 24,000 companies, the candidates are screened from the aspect of sales growth and earnings growth in the past 12 months and over three years, and for the strongest five-year return on equity.
“Personally, I felt pleasantly surprised and truly rewarded as this is unexpected. Winning this means our policies and strategies are working to produce the results desired,” said Serba Dinamik Chief Eexecutive Officer Datuk Dr Ir Abdul Karim Abdullah when contacted via email recently.
Attributing the achievement to team work, perseverance and planning, he said making it to the list helped make the company’s 25th year anniversary more rewarding and meaningful.
“It’s an added motivation to move the company forward into positioning it as a multinational company of preferred choice,” he said.
Serba Dinamik joined two other Malaysian companies — My E.G. Services Bhd and Pentamaster — that made it to the list.
The award presentation was held in Tokyo, Japan on Nov 19.
